Mr Brandon

 

This is Mr Brandon’s 1st year as an instructor with the WDA. He previously taught

and trained through Fame Dance Studios in Lloydminster and Cold Lake, Alberta

under the tutelage of Sarah C. R. Makins (ARAD A.I.S.T.D.). Mr Brandon is also

currently a registered Yoga Instructor through the Yoga Alliance.

 

Mr Brandon has trained internationally taking various classes from the Edge

Performing Arts Centre in Los Angeles, California, and attended the Dance Educators

of America and The Pulse on Tour training intensives in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also

was given the opportunity to perform and train in Disney Land and Disney World. 

 

Due to his wide range of experience and performance opportunities Mr Brandon

has earned a numerous amount of awards and scholarships during his training,

including; overall most promising, overall duet high score, outstanding soloist and

was the 1st runner up for Mr Senior Candance Red Deer 2015. He was also the

recipient of a Be Discovered Scholarship and had the opportunity to take part in the

2014 Summer in LA Dance Intensive. He was selected to attend the Talent INC.

conference in Toronto where he ended up winning a dance scholarship and a full

scholarship to attend the Talent INC. conference in the UK. Lastly, he attended a

dance competition in Las Vegas where he choreographed and performed his solo winning him diamond and overall professional category soloist. Mr Brandon’s dance career eventually branched out into the modelling industry doing  runways and photo-shoots across Alberta. Mr Brandon is published in 2016’s Bridal Fantasy Magazine and Derks Menswear.

 

His experience in the field of movement has allowed him to teach with great proficiency. He always tries his best to create an enjoyable and challenging atmosphere for his students and believes as a teacher it's his duty to familiarize body awareness, inspiring his students to leave with a new perspective! 

Mr Brandon will be heading our Hip Hop program this year as well as introducing a Jumps & Turns class that we are all quite excited for!
