WDA offers classes in either recreational or competitive: 

• Recreational dancers attend classes + participate in the year end recitals

• Competitive dancers are chosen by their instructors to compete at an additional 2-3 competitions + participate in the year end recitals

We have chosen this structure based on feedback from our instructors, parents, and dancers. It allows dancers that want to dance with their friends as well as play other sports still participate in their regular classes with their friends without the added cost and commitment of a full competitive season.

 

It also allows the dancers that have a serious commitment to dance compete at a higher level than allowed with larger multi skill level groups.

All dancers will receive a full year of technique classes in their chosen discipline and dance together at the year end recitals.
